Recommended Baking Books

In the book Chocolate Classics, published by Brand Name Corporations in 1985, it shows you how to bake every chocolate sensation you could imagine, as well as informing you in the first couple of pages how to measure certain items, oven temperatures, possible substitutions, and even food storage. It is organized throughout the book by recipes and even includes pictures to most of them, but not all. The audience of this book is open to anyone who wants to learn how, or continue baking. The pictures and eye catching names of the desserts persuade people to want to try it, which is the purpose of the whole book. I also recommend the book Baking, written by Marsha Day in 1999. This book includes over 400 recipes to choose from that have step-by-step pictures to make it easier for beginners. In the very beginning pages of the book, Day put an ingredients list, and a baking equiptment list. By being organized very helpfully, this book is very persuasive in getting people to become interested in baking the recipes given. This book is intended for and audience of bakers of course, and for people who need the confidence to learn how.
